We serve two segments of the retirement plan population. Some clients are Fortune 500 companies, while others are small to mid-size companies who use ASC Trust both for the annual management of their employee benefit plans and to be the HR department for these plans.

We provide all prospective clients with a complimentary plan design discussion to help you understand the important considerations involved in establishing a retirement plan that matches your long-term business objectives, your workforce demographics, tax objectives and your retirement requirements. After deciding on the appropriate plan design with the sponsor, we will complete the plan documents to make them signature ready. Your plan document describes who is covered under your plan, i.e., who benefits under your plan, and what contributions or benefits will be provided to those covered employees and at ASC Trust, we perform these operations to ensure that your plan works in accordance with the terms of your plan document, allowing you to concentrate on what you know best: your business.
Put simply, a plan should not discriminate in favor of the highly compensated employees (generally owners and officers) and requires annual nondiscrimination testing. However, plan compliance is a crucial part of our annual review process and at ASC Trust we go beyond the required testing to make sure that the solutions we are providing you will yield the best long term results.
And, much like individuals have to file tax returns, so do qualified plans. We will complete the annual Government/IRS Forms including providing a Summary Annual Report (SAR) and will provide full audit support.

The recordkeeping function is a critical part of today’s retirement plan environment. ASC Trust will manage all aspects of employee contributions, distributions, and any other financial transactions that may occur. We will execute trades on a daily basis and will maintain both participant and plan sponsor web sites for easy access to their retirement accounts.

Through our electronic connections to our trading partners, we perform data aggregation and reconciliation of all plan investments. Our reports include consolidated statements, certified annual trust reports, daily plan activity files and performance reports. We also offer plan-level reporting on realized and unrealized gains and losses. Please refer to the main menu option “Investments” for more information on the investments and the target audience for each.
We process and prepare disbursements including plan expense payments and participant-related distributions. In addition, we settle trades and allocate contributions and process tax payments to Guam DRT, CNMI DRT and the US Treasury.
